Ensure your rear derailleur hanger is secured correctly to your bike frame with the DO-X01 screw from XLC. It is compatible with derailleur hangers that have an inner diameter of 8x7mm. The DO-X01 helps to attach your derailleur and hanger to your bike's frame so you can shift your gears smoothly. The hanger is an important component as it protects your bike in the event of a crash on the drive-side by bending – it is, therefore, consumable and may need to be replaced in the natural lifespan of your bicycle.
