Cleats are a vitally important part of the clipless pedal setup. You need to know with absolute certainty that your cleats are going to fit into your pedals and stay fixed in place for the duration of your ride (except at junctions!), and that’s what you get with the XLC Cleatset PD-X047.The XLC Cleatset PD-X047 is suitable for XLC system pedals and is also compatible with the Look Keo system, one of the most popular clipless pedal setups in the sport (used by lots of your favourite pro riders).With this set, you get one pair of plates (in grey) that have a 9° float, which means that once bolted to your shoe and clipped into the pedal, you’ll be able to twist your foot 9° without it coming free. This degree of float reduces the risk of injury and gives you a bit of wiggle room.
